I've had a conversation with a person and 2 messages in, I stopped replying. As I realized that they were replying with markdown formatted text and I am sure that wouldn't do that for every other word.
They were putting every question I asked into AI and pasting it in slack
yes - this is what people are doing in my workplace, unfortunately. you can write the most concise and effective documentation possible for a feature of some complexity, and people will still be asking their chatbot to make a soundbite out of it. it's infuriating.
